Saint Stephen 5×7 mounted icon

Description

In 2021 I was asked by Bishop John, of the Worcester and New England  Antiochian Diocese to create a series of icons for our parish, St. Stephen. He’d seen my Christian picture book The Nativity and felt I was equal to the task. Being an Orthodox Christian for 40+ years now, I am very aware of the honor it is to work on iconography.  Of course, St Stephen was the first icon I “wrote.” The 4×6″ laminated icon is mounted on a 5x7x3/4″ painted wooden plaque.
