Originally published by Little, Brown of Boston under the name TAPESTRIES: Stories of Women in the Bible, I decided to change the title to simply STORIES OF WOMEN OF THE BIBLE when the rights were reverted to me, and I chose one of my favorite interior illustrations for the new cover. There are short accounts paraphrased from the Bible of 23 women from the Old and New Testaments along with an illustration for each one. The book is a nice introduction for young children of the lives of these important Bible women.
