Saint Brigid laminated icon

Description

Saint Brigid is a 6th century female patron saint of Ireland. This 4×6″ laminated icon has a short description and a prayer on the back (shown).

In 2021 I was asked by Bishop John, our bishop of the Worcester and New England  Antiochian Diocese, to create a series of icons for our Western Rite parish, St. Stephen in Western Massachusetts. He’d seen my Christian picture book The Nativity and felt I was equal to the task. I’ve been an Orthodox Christian for 40+ years now, and have studied the art of different traditions of iconography.  It has been a privilege and honor to create icons for my parish.

NOTE: Minimum Website order is $20. A 40% discount is  offered to churches for orders of 10 or more mixed icons. Email ruthsanderson@me.com to create an order.

On all Christian products: 20% of the proceeds will be donated to my parish, St. Stephen Orthodox Church in Ludlow, MA (Antiochian Archdiocese)
